Had no idea my current career choice was what was driving me to prose; and here the whole time, I thought it was because I had seen the light that poets do not get paid, nor do most writers, but, ummm, John Grisham, and Tom Robbins. Yes lets use TR, he’s alive, collects box-car checks, and unless unbeknown to me collects the lion’s share of his revenue through clandestine real estate management or a string of car washes in the Florida pan-handle, then I think he balls out of control via residual payments in the form of a nice, bank acceptable, check.
